Practice Problems Rounding Games (Bike Racing) Rounding Games (Brain Racer) Rounding Games (Soccer Math) Rounding Games (Fly Delivery) When rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand, etc. you look to the digit to the right of the digit you're rounding to see if your rounded digit stays the same or is rounded up. If the digit to the right is 5 or more, the you round up. If it is less than 5, then it's rounded down. For instance if I'm rounding 5,369 to the nearest ten, I would look at the ones place (9) to see if my tens place (6) is rounded up to 7 or stays at 6. Since my ones place is greater than 5, then my tens place is rounded up to 7. Also, all digits following the rounded digit becomes 0.
